CBM Services Group Managing Director, Scott Bretherton has a big reason to smile and congratulate his team. It has been recently confirmed that CBM Services Group has been awarded the major contract for mechanical services and medical gas installation for the Maryborough Hospital Emergency Department refurbishment.
Mr Bretherton said that the contract was subject to a competitive tender, and that the CBM Group’s success was a major coup for their recent relaunch as a multi-faceted service provider and asset management group servicing Queensland.
“Our growth strategy has targeted the gas and asset management sectors of our industry over the last few years,” said Mr Bretherton.
“We have been focused on developing a unique, comprehensive and competitive service package to the market, and are thrilled that our offering has been successful,” he said.
Principal Contractor for the $14.37 million hospital upgrade, Paynters, awarded the tender having recognised CBM as a company focused on delivery and meeting the project expectations while keeping safety – for hospital staff, patients and CBM employees, at the centre of their bid.
“Paynters have had the pleasure of engaging CBM Services Group on several projects now & I can confidently say that the team are incredibly proactive and fantastic to deal with. They are certainly solutions driven, allowing their involvement to be stress free on all occasions.”
A service partnership with Paynters, who are seen as leaders in the management of large scale structural projects, is a proud moment for the local CBM Services Group and will elevate the company to seek further tenders for work like this.
“The Maryborough Hospital refurbishment is delivering major health service upgrades and benefits the whole community,” Mr Bretherton said.
“CBM were successful in our tender because we are a one-stop shop for Paynters to deliver these essential elements of the project.”
“Contributing to this major upgrade of the Maryborough Hospital Emergency Department is something the whole CBM team can be proud to be part of. This is something we have all been working for and I’m thankful for all the input across the Group to get the tender package together.”
The project is set to commence May 2019.
